Hotel NYC

We feel lucky to live in a city people love to visit. For us that's meant lots of family members from both sides coming to see us and the Big Apple over the past two years. We know that they would be just as excited to come see us if we lived in Monkey's Eyebrow, KY or Kickapoo, LA (real city names btw, google "funny city names" sometime for a good laugh), but let's be honest, they wouldn't. We won't complain though, we've had a blast spending time with our visitors and showing them around The City.

Here are some photos of when my sister Michelle, her husband Adam and son Brigham came to visit us in February.

It's been a while...

Well, I got off to a good start in this blogging thing about 9 months ago, but obviously the buzz faded rather quickly. Two whole posts later and it's probably about time to add another few. The guilt of checking other people's blogs who have links to our blog is too much. So here's to some renewed enthusiam for blogging...don't hold your breath.

Don't mess with the dude's 'do

Tyler surprised us all one morning before church by emerging from the bathroom with a new self-sculpted look. He used so much gel that his hair stayed in a mohawk for three days.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em

We got tired of reading about everyone else's lives without contributing anything of our own, so we decided to join the fray in the blogosphere. We're obviously behind the curve, so a lot of our entries will be "catch up" posts. Stay tuned for updates on our adventures living in one of greatest cities on earth.
