Ansley's new look

She's got a new accessory, and it's not the pacifier. We recently discovered that the poor girl is quite far-sided, and apparently the thick lenses really do help her see the world more clearly, because she has taken to the glasses very well. I am pretty shocked. I envisioned her ripping them off and twisting or throwing them regularly, but she has graciously accepted them into her life. What a relief!

Of course it helped during the first few days that I allowed the passie (which was supposed to be only for sleeping) when she wore the glasses. The girl is obsessed with her passies, and I am only feeding the obsession. It's been a week with the specs, and she is more attached than ever to her "pass" as she says...but I feel it is worth it for now.

One two-year-old crisis at a time.

...and a celebratory Happy Meal--don't judge me, Meredith!

How cute! I remember talking about this when you were here--we both had upcoming eye dr appt for our kiddos. Well, Hayley and Ansley have something in common! I'll have to post her pix soon. Glad she loves her glasses!

She's adorable! I love the shape of the frames with those curls and her little cute face. You gotta love a little kid with glasses. :)

So cute! I love her look.

Don't sweat the passie. Nico had his until he was 4, and I can tell you right now, he had it A LOT when he was two. And as for the Happy Meal.. the fries look really good!

It reminds me of Jillian at that age! So cute, and I'm so glad she's not fighting them! I remember wondering about the crossed eye trick when we were there... It's so great that they can get it figured out so early for kids! Man, that Ansley really is just so adorable!

She is adorable! I'm glad she is taking to them so well. And I'm sure I'd do the same thing- pacifiers and happy meals. :)

no judging here... especially for a little girl in glasses! i seem to remember an adorable little girl back in the 70's who got glasses when she was THREE! they sure do make glasses for kids MUCH cuter than they did when i had them!

i'm a sucker for kids in glasses. and remember how berkeley was crying when she found out she DIDN'T need them?
